Inspired by the classic cocktail we brewed this with pils malt, oats and milk sugar and then conditioned it on orange blossom water, lemon, lime and a blend of gin botanicals.

Big thanks to dleiner for this one. Upon reading the description I thought surely it would be a drainpour but I was quite surprised how much I liked it. Smells like lemons, limes, and what must be the botanicals. Flavor is citrusy, sugary, lemon, lime and I guess juniper. This was quite good.

16 oz. can won via auction. Dated 3/6/19, so just four weeks old. Pretty excited. Poured into Kane tulip glass.
L: Scant 1F head with poor retention, leaving no lacing and just a thin ring. Beer is a semi-hazy straw; you can see your hand through it, but it is cloudy. Doesn't look super-great, if we are being honest.
S: So much citrus! Lemon, lime, orange, definitely the juniper signature of gin.
T: Wow, really lives up to billing. All the citrus mentioned above and the definite gin properties, milk sugar and oats come into play as well. This really tastes a lot like a citrus-laden sloe gin fizz (sloe gin is sweet).
F: Lightish body, pretty well-carbonated as it should be. Wise choice to up the ABV as it would have tasted less substantial with a traditional Berliner ABV. Construction and balance are superb.
O: Well, I am gobsmacked. This vies with Miami Madness as the best Berliner I have ever tried and the conceit and execution are outstanding. So well done.

This one pours a fairly hazy light orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells pretty great, with sweet gin, milk sugar, creamy citrus, lemon candy, and pineapple.
This works well to evoke the cocktail, and is really quite delicious. There's nice soft lemony acidity, with lemon/lime candy, a bit of sweet herbal character, and some creamy vanilla.
This is light bodied, and fairly creamy, with a very high level of drinkability.
This is really fun and really cute little beer.

Pours orange Amber with a cream colored head.
Smells of orange, sour yeast, and gin with floral hops.
Taste is like a sour cream sickle. It is full of tasty flavor but is slightly cloying.

Good mix between a light beer and a sour. Colored like a pineapple with smell like grapefuit. Good fruity taste with milk sugar to balance and create more body.

Unbecoming appearance, could be a pilsner, could be a lambic, lotta legs with opaque pineapple juice color. Smell is sweet citrus. Taste is sweet oranges, lemon lime twang, and light booze flavor that that's really pleasant. Milk sugar gives it a sweet finish and a thicker body which is really really nice and drinkable.
