9/8/2020. Nice orange colour, with dense white foam. Smells heavy guava, some strawberry. Fair amount of carbonation. Some sharp acidity at first, but quickly mellows into a softer sour. Guava up front, coconut on the end, and strawberry in the back. Yum.

Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into an Other Half tulip glass; no production information.
A: Pours an opaque, rose golden color with rapidly resolving, one finger, (?pink tinged) head with rim retention, and spotty lacing. Lacing Looks a lot like carbonated, pulpless, pink grapefruit juice.
S: Tart side of tangy. Aromas of guava, strawberry, and coconut all in evidence, as are pink grapefruit, tangerine, and, dare I say ripened, wet hay. Maybe a little lactate, which adds.
T: Tart, but not overpoweringly so. The flavor palate follows the nose in this case with tons of guava, less strawberry, and some coconut. Little or no bitterness through the acidity but presenting clean, refreshing finish.
M: Surprisingly light bodied with moderate carbonation. Juicy and tingly in the mouth.
O: Guava always adds juiciness when combined with the right fruits and this is not exception. Essentially a "double Berliner Weisse style" beer and, I have to say, I really liked this one. Probably just right for introducing the uninitiated. My wife liked it (and that says everything).

Almost thought that this was the original until I double-checked the label and saw that this was the double. It was hard to tell by the taste since the alcohol was well-hidden by the fruit flavor and thickness of the liquid. It wasn't bad but for being a double, I expected a bit more out of this!
Quite a dark look to this as it seemed to be full of guava more than the other fruits, although enough light shone through it. Lots of haze and sediment in the beer with a few darker portions settling at the bottom. Lots of foamy head that quickly, and quietly, settled as there wasn't a lot of lacing left behind down the side of my pint glass. In the nose - the strawberry easily dominated with a ton of that juicy, sweet, patchy fruit throughout with some ice cream sweetness underneath it to complement the texture nicely. Moire juice, tropical sweetness, and earthiness kicked in without a lot of overt tartness. Slick and smooth, this went down easily with just a tropical juiciness lingering once the last sip went down.
Hard to believe that this was a Berliner Weisse because of the lack of carbonation and seemingly missing alcoholic presence. It's here and just a bit of warming took hold of me once I polished it off. Canned on 7/18/19 with "SWEETER PETER" written underneath that, this was enjoyable but not much different than the original but if you're into the other iterations of this that Other Half has released, you won't go wrong with this one either!

Appearance: Pours cloudy, with the strawberry and guava juice colors presenting; the head is less than an inch high but leaves webs of lacing
Smell: Lactic fruit tones with the guava, strawberry and coconut all quite discernible
Taste: Some lactic tartness forward and then all three fruit flavors emerge; the tartness builds, through the middle and then lingers, as a layer, above the sweeter fruit elements
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with low to moderate carbonation
Overall; This is quite a refreshing beverage that shows off an inspired blend of fruit flavors
Thanks, devoured by vermin, for the opportunity
