Ha! I love the name of this beer as I know the person who coined this term. Yeah, he screwed me over the day this was released as he forgot to pay for all the beer I muled for him but thankfully, it worked out in the end. That's how it was with this brew too as it wasn't anything impressive up-front but turned out to be incredibly smooth, nuanced, and enjoyable from start to finish.
The pour to this was what I expected as most of Other Half's recent beers looked just like this. Golden, soft, and uniform in hue, enough light seeped through this as the head that topped it off was more than sufficient. The lacing was thin as there were only a few wavy rings to be seen as I though that it would be much thicker. Lots of deep tropical, citrus pith, and murky hops in the nose with some white grape and bright lime thrown in there for good measure. The taste was just as varied, deep, and dank as it felt like a full fruit cocktail or fruit salad - down to the presence of pineapple and kiwi. Somewhat slick with a bit of resin in the mix, this was mostly smooth but had enough weed and deep forest in the aftertaste to stay heavy down to the last sip.
Enough booze was in this but that was on par with everything else that was going on here. Canned on 2/4 with "CAM HAS WRISTBANDS" written underneath that, there were so may hops in this beer but somehow, none dominated or ended up ruining the overall feel of this. Lots going on here but if you want something nuanced and slick, you've found your brew here. The presence of barley and light carbonation ensured that this would have enough heft in it to keep up with all of the hops!

Poured from a can (2/4) into a glass taster
L: dark orange/yellow, small white head that dissipated after a couple minutes
S: very strong citrus juice notes - orange, grapefruit, lemon/lime. Some more tropical notes in the background, but citrus-forward
T: nose caries over with a sharper citrus juice profile. Fairly straightforward flavor start to finish, with a lingering tart note
F: feels a little thin, maybe a bit more carbonated than I'd expect
O: decent DIPA showcasing nice citrus flavors with a bit of tart bite on the finish

Spent yesterday on Garnet St, Brooklyn to get this. Decanted from a 16 oz (473 ml) can into a Sam Adams Perfect Pint taster; canned 2/4/20, code CAN HAS WRISTBANDS. Obtained at the brewery on its release date.
A: Pours a cloudy, golden color (think orange juice) with a one finger, yellow chiffon head with little more than a rim of retention but reasonably complex rings of lacing.
S: Aromas range through white grapefruit, barley, unripened nectarine, pine, and a very strong showing of caramel.
T: Sweet. Palate largely follows the nose. Barley and caramel is strong with this one. Relatively and, I emphasize, relatively light bitterness for the style.
M: Medium bodied with moderate effervescence. Creamy and smooth.
O: A complex and evolving flavor experience. Always a treated to hit Other Half.
