14 month Willett Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout with Walnuts, Coconut, Cacao Nibs, Graham Cracker, Butterscotch and Milk Sugar with our buddies @moksabrewing. We brewed up this pastry stout back during Pastrytown 2019. It's a seven layer bar in liquid form. Cheers to our Sac Town homies for brewing this with us.

500ml bottle at share. Near black pour, a few bubbles, then flat. Booze hits the nose first, strong, not too much else detectable behind it. While the alcohol is still singing the nosehairs, taste brings dark, sweet chocolate flavors and other candy bar notes. Slick, smooth, full, and very potent.

13 April 2021 - Beer #235
Price: $22.00 at the brewery
Appearance: 4 - very murky dark brown. No head, but the alcohol is coating the whole glass.
Nose: 4 - some barrel and a lot of butterscotch. Boozy. Not intense.
Taste: 4 - can't really pick out the individual flavors, but there is a ton of flavor. It's a big old boozy mess.
Mouth: 5 - thick enough to nearly choke me. Very much like motor oil.
Overall: 4 - it's a bit much. Certainly good, but unnecessary.
Cheers!
