Sweet tropical hoppy, malty bready, and strawberry citrus-dank nose on this one! Taste follows with a slightly malty, sweet and fruity, and tropical hoppy bitter finish...the fruity sweetness dominates the hoppy bitterness here IMO. This hides the ABV very well...this is good!

Pours Hazy light gold with white head. 4.25

Aroma is honestly a blend of strawberry/peaches and cream oatmeal. Passionfruit underneath. 4.75

Taste is right along those lines with a slight bit of green underneath. 4.75

Feel is perfectly carbonated with the right amount of fluffy. Semi dry finish. 5

Overall: Love this beer. I've had around 10 beers from Other Half and this one had a unique flavor that stood out more than the others. 5

can to snifter while cooking for cinco de mayo.

LOOK: super creamy-hazy, mellow yellow, big soft foamy head, excellent retention.
AROMA: cantelope, mango, guava, hint of mold.
TASTE: very tropical, mango, guava, tangerine, pineapple, light grass finish. super tasty.
FEEL: medium body, very creamy and very smooth.

I don't think I've had many single hop Strata beers, but this has now piqued my interest in such. Never considered Strata as one of those hops to look for, but as of today I am widening my radar. Funny I didn't notice strawberry until I read the description, but it is there all throughout....just subtle.

Deep, opaque brownish-orange. Nice fluffy white head that takes a little bit to dissipate. Nice lacing.

Smell is somewhat earthy and vegetal up front but in the background there is a bit of fruit-jam sweetness.

Huge fruit flavors. Sweet strawberry, pineapple and mango. Hints of apple, grape, and possibly even blueberry? It's quite sweet but there's just enough bitterness in the finish to keep it from being cloying. There's even a bit of malt flavor going on in the background I think. ABV is nowhere to be found other than just how long and big the finish is. Really incredible flavors all around.

Feel is fairly thick, but not overly so. About what you want in a TIPA. It coats the mouth nicely and while it is a bit sticky, it's not syrupy. Nice carbonation.

I've tried this one before and remembered it being one of my favorites. It's definitely a special beer. I tend to like my IPAs somewhat dry but this just proves that a sweet, juicy IPA can be great if done right. Despite leaning into the fruity flavors, I find it to be really well-balanced. It's pretty amazing to be able to get this much tropical-punchy, fruit-snack flavor from an IPA but not have it be too sweet or cloying. One of my absolute favorites I've tried from Other Half.
