Pours an opaque yellow orange color, with thick layer of white head. Hop aroma leans peach, white grape, lime. Similar taste, starts juicy then has some bitterness in the finish. Soft mouthfeel.

(31 days old) Standard haze. Fairly intense juicy aroma. Characteristic citrusy/dieslely flavor from Riwaka is balanced nicely with tropical notes of passionfruit from Galaxy with Mosaic holding it all together. Distinctive, vibrant, if sharp-elbowed IPA that one would expect from this brewing collective.

This was another beer that I picked up at Other Half earlier this year, as it sounded great based on it's description and those who had a hand in brewing this. Props to the label showing broccoli blowing out cheddar as the playfulness was also present in the liquid itself. The look to this was pure juice, as was the case with so many of Other Half's beers over the years, although the flavor, feel, and brightness was indicative of Trillium, Equilibrium, and Vitamin Sea with the end result being a beer that was old-school, edgy, and quite balling!
Plenty blonde and cloudy, this was quite dank in appearance with quite a bit of dark sediment floating in it, although that had to do with this beer's age more than anything else. Enough uneven head topped this off as the suds settled down to a thin cap with a subtle ring of lacing left at the top of the liquid. Lots of spotty suds stuck around below that as this turned out to be nicely carbonated. A ton of Pilsner Malt was to be felt in the aroma and taste with some wheat underneath that to help smooth out the edges from the hops. White grape, peach, and light stone fruit and citrus filled the muted nose as the taste was much more subdued, basic, and less dank. This felt like a hopped-up Hefeweizen that was smooth, slick, and full-bodied down to the last sip. as it left a nice, quasi-waxy residue on my teeth once I finished this off!
A bit of white cheddar remained as this was dry in the sense that I needed a shot of water to fully get it down. No idea when this was dated as the writing on the bottom of the can was distorted as I wish I was able to give this a go a few months back. Nevertheless, this deserved to be part of Green City's lineup as it was certain to not offend anyone. Get it for the old-school label but enjoy it for it's versatility and nearly-universal appeal!

Look - hazy thick yellow with a slight white head great white rimming and lacing
Smell - earthy, white grapefruit, pineapple and melon. Fairly easy going scents
Taste - basically just like the smell. not as sweet as most
Feel - medium full body with a medium light carb
Overall - pretty good, nothing that jumps out though

16 oz can, dated 8/18/20, poured into a teku
A- A hazy golden straw with a two finger white head.
S- Citrus, pineapple, some berries, earthy, a little dank, touch of melons, a little floral.
T- Citrus, some tropical fruits, pineapple, some melons, pilsner malts on the back end, dank, a little floral, earthy, touch of berries.
M- Smooth, slightly creamy, medium body.
O- This has a lot going with this. Flavors are clashing some but it is working pretty well. One of the more unique IPAs I’ve had from Other Half.
