This is just what the name says, dense. It's dense with unnecessary amounts of hops from our High Density Hop Charge treatment designed to pack as many hops as we can into a beer. We use Citra, Mosaic and Sabro Incognito, a special aromatic hop extract, alongside the Cryo version of each hop. This combo quickly brings us to 11 lbs/bbl for a 6.5% beer! Our goal is make the beer drinkable at this hopping rate but still as aromatic as we possibly can.

8 week old can.
Poured almost saffron yellow in color, fully opaque and sported a 1 finger off white head that leaves rings of lacing all the way down the glass.
The aroma, to my chemically damaged nose, is great. Hard for me to define specifics but hops that bring to mind citrus and stone fruits are very present.
The taste isn't as intense as the aroma, and that's something as my sniffer is damaged. Very tasty, it just didn't quite live up to the expectations promised by the aroma.
The feel I liked quite a bit; several NEIPAs that I have tried are, well, cloudy because of floaties. This one isn't, easy drinking, wouldn't call it crisp, but it's certainly not chewy. Just nicely quaffable.

Pours a glowing pale gold with a persistent head. Canned less than 2 weeks and it shows in the nose, smell is juicy mouth-watering citrus with notes of honeydew,
The mouthfeel is a bit cloying. but freshly carbonated and very much so. Not heavy bodied but still Dense for a medium. Very crisp.
Grassy and mild flavor. Initial flavor is complex to the point of hard to identify, but smooths out to feel surprisingly fruity but not sweet. Interesting. if not tasty.

A: The beer is very hazy pale whitish yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge and some lacing down the sides.
S: Light to moderate aromas of coconut and lime are present in the nose.
T: The taste has flavors of coconut, cream, lime and stone fruit.
M: It feels medium-bodied and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA has concentrated aromas and flavors of hops; I particularly liked those from the Sabro hops.
Serving type: can

Pours a light straw color, typical OH foamy head - excellent. Dank aroma. Flavor is dank, muted tropical flavors, earthy. I get guava, light citrus. Appropriate carbonation. Overall, the OH bartender recommended this even though it was 7 weeks old. Very enjoyable, but looking at other reviews, I feel the flavor fell off a bit. Would love to try fresh. Still very enjoyable.

Tall can, with 4/27/21 stamped on the bottom.
Full on quality OH juiced up pour.
Bright and pungent tropical fruit sniff.
Delicious brew with ripe and pleasing grapefruit infused juicy goodness. Boldly flavorful, easy drinking and well worth seeking out. Mighty tasty. Love the great beers that Other Half keeps pumping out on a regular...

Look: Pours a murky yellow/brown
Smell: Citra hops
Taste: Fruity in a strange way. Grassy mixed with citrus. Almost tastes like champagne.
Feel: Light/medium mouthfeel.
Overall: Unpopular opinion, but like most stuff from OH, this is overrated. Not bad, but underwhelming.

8-week-old can poured into a tulip.
Pours like lemonade and looks like strained pineapple juice in the glass. Totally opaque but no murk and lighter coloring on the edges. Half-finger of soapy, sudsy eggshell head, but needed a pretty aggressive pour to get there. A little film and some big soap bubbles as the beer settles. Good amount of splotchy lacing down the glass, much more than you would expect given the initial pour. Looks like a lighter hazie.
Bright and sharp citrus on the nose -- great start! A little bready and grassy, with a touch of dankness. Red berries, dark grapes, candied orange, ruby red grapefruit, and mild tropical fruit (pineapple, passionfruit, and mango) in the background. Not a huge wallop of aromas, but it is a 6.5% after all.
Flavor profile is mild but quite unique. Big mineral note and very grassy up front. Big citrus (grapefruit, orange, lemon), some wine grape, and a little under-ripe peach and apricot. The mineral component rolls back in which often makes me worried that a starchy hop burn or vegetal element is about to poke through, but that doesn't happen here at all. Instead, it's quite dank and a little oniony, which I really like. There's a pleasant green and floral element, then the citrus reappears. There are little bursts of semi-sweetness here and there, but the beer comes off, overall, as quite dry to me. Nice pithy grapefruit aftertaste with some lemon-lime mixed in for good measure. Maybe a tiny hit of starchy greens very late. But the grapefruit and lemon-lime pith coated on the tongue and teeth largely overrides it. Really a nice drinker, especially for the ABV.
Soft and slick but a little light. It has a pleasant but noticeable "prickle" from the healthy carbonation. Drinks easy but coats the mouth well and makes the pithiness last forever.
This beer would likely have a tough time standing out in a crowd of heavyweight hazies because it doesn't beat your senses. But past he unnoteworthy look and light mouthfeel, it punches well above its weight class and has some unique, memorable components. Definitely pushes some good "hop" buttons without overwhelming the nostrils and palate. Rock solid in general, and really damn good for a 6%-ish beer in such a competitive category.
