Pours cloudy sand/gold color with a 2 finger thick whipped, foamy head that was bright white and faded slowly and left decent spotty lacing. Smells like lemon zest, orange peel, red grapefruit, Fruit Loops cereal, an old baseball mitt, weed, dill, biscuits and something earthy. OH listed Galaxy and Enigma hops were used, and it comes off a little odd to me.
Tastes like melon, orange juice, tangerine, lemon zest, lime juice, biscuit, yuzu or a lemony fruit like that, yeast, either butterscotch or caramel, fresh cut flowers, herbs, coriander and salt water. Not very tropical while still being fruity, this was a very different flavor for an IPA. Hard to pinpoint the unique flavors, but it was new to me.
Mouthfeel was a little thin with very mild bitterness and a low level of carbonation. It hid the ABV well, but this was a let down from two outstanding breweries. Other Half and Equilibrium make great IPA's yet this collaboration was average at best as the Enigma hops did nothing for me.
