Lots and lots of oats with a small dose of lactose makes for a super smooth IPA with Citra, Strata, and Galaxy.

From a can gifted by my friend Joe.
A solid IPA using oats and lactose. The 10% ABV is well hidden. Great balance. No where near a west coast style and not completely New England style. In the middle, which will probably satisfy no one. 4.0
A - Pours a pale orangish yellow with a one-finger off-white head. Very nice lacing. 3.75
S - Aromas of mango, strawberry, tangerine and some residual sweetness. 4.25
T - Fruity with an lean towards citrusy flavors. The oats are evident allowing for a more bready taste with very low perceived bitterness. A bit of orange juice acidity in the aftertaste. 4.25
MF - Medium bodied. Smooth with a dry but not bitter finish. 3.75

Pours a pale hazy golden. Not much in the form of aroma. After some coaxing and swirling, I get a pez candy-like lime zest akin to what I get from some Falconer's Flight hopped IPAs. It's resiny and has a herbal menthol note. Maybe a touch of fusel as well. It's not bad per se. It's fine.
