Hopped at the equivalent of 13 lbs/bbl with Citra, Mosaic and Sabro this is one very dense beer. We used a blend of Incognito and Cryo hops to push this to the limits.

Cloudy, orange color. Big, white head. Melon, grapefruit, peach, and malt in the aroma. Soft, fruity taste with mild bitterness. Good but forgettable.

This was another beer from Other Half that I picked up recently, as it was as smooth as could be. Enjoyed the quasi-experimental nature of it as these guys usually get stuff like this right, and that was the case with this too. Easy to drink and soft, the flavors were a bit different from what I was accustomed too and as usual, this didn't last in my pint glass for very long!

Like many of their other beers, this had a golden, cloudy hue to it with a nice head topping it off. Uniform in appearance, the liquid was softly bright as the lacing left behind was mostly in the form of a few thick rings near the top of my pint glass. Lots of melon, vegetable patch, funky vegetables, and exotic hops in the nose as the taste followed suit. Soft and plush, any heavy-handedness from the taste was easily offset by the way this felt on my tongue. A bit of sticky papaya and swamp water entered the fray once this fully warmed up, but the Citra, Mosaic, and Sabro worked nicely together as the aftertaste was dank, but inviting at the same time.

Just enough booze was in this to be felt and to complement the hops as this warmed me up a wee bit on this snowy night. The malt was basic bread and dough while the carbonation was just enough to be felt and not seen. Once again, nothing was written on the bottom of the can as I wish this was dated. Regardless, this was a fresh beer that I'd easily enjoy a second time around, as the results were well worth the effort that was put into this!
