Hazy orange. Big white head. Tropical fruits, with pineapple slightly upfront in the aroma. Smooth, moderately sweet, juicy taste. moderate hippy bitterness.

It's understood that barley malt has recently become more expensive and therefore, more rare. But, wheat makes a terrible substitute. It's obvious that's what's going on here, wheat in the wort. After the contents of a pint can are poured into a clear glass Imperial pint mug, that nasty starchy stark white head of a wheat infused brew is apparent. The head recedes unevenly and leaves an irregular sticky lacing. Brewers may over hop these things forever, but without a barley malt backbone, even adding oats, it just isn't going to end up well. The color is a very murky blond-amber. The aroma is starchy and somewhat hoppy. The taste is sweet, without any body. Alcohol hits first and lingers. No depth, no character and absolutely no balance here, this is an alcohol hit and very little else. What a waste of Simcoe hops, for even they can't rescue this.

From a 16oz can dated 8/13/21 into a tulip.

Pours an opaque yellowish, brownish orange with a solid two fingers of thick off-white head. Incredible retention, decent lacing.

Smell is fairly simple, tangerines and pineapple.

Taste follows-predominantly pineapple as well as some bitter earth/pine notes.

This beer is thick. "Full-bodied" doesn't do it justice-it's much more than that. Low to medium carbonation. Bitter, slightly juicy aftertaste.

My first Other Half experience. The body on this beer makes it. I was expecting a little more from the smell and taste. That being said, this blows the more available shelf "hazies" out of the water.

Dark opaque orange in color with a fluffy head that doesn't dissipate too quickly.

Not a very strong smell but mostly I get light citrus. There's also a sweet flavor to the smell too. Almost... sweet and sour sauce? Like from an American Chinese restaurant.

Taste is pretty sweet. There are tropical citrus flavors, but also berry and plum... even apple. It's exceptionally fruity without much dry or dank character to it. Actually as I sip it more I do get a bit more of the resinous, dank flavor in the background. It's got a nice long, warming finish. It's 10.5% but you'd never know it. It's purely sweet and smooth.

Mouthfeel is fairly thick, though not all that creamy. It coats the mouth nicely and the carbonation does its job well.

If you like your IPAs sweet and fruity, then you'll love this one. It's probably one of OH's best from that perspective. I tend to prefer the IPAs with slightly more dryness to them. Still, it's a damn good beer.
