Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – the beer pours a super hazy orange juice color with a huge head of billowy off-white foam. The head has an amazing level of retention, fading slowly over time and leaving tons of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is huge of a tropical fruit smell with lots of mango, pineapple, and papaya. Along with these comes a nice fresh hop smell of a grapefruit and pine nature. Other nice aromas of fresh cut grass and a bit of oat and bread are there as well, rounding out the smell nicely.
Taste – The taste begins with an oat and bready malt flavor mixed with a strong showing of the hop that was in the nose. The hop is strongest of a grapefruit rind mixed with some pine and herbal hops. At the same time the hop and malt are balanced by some of the fruit that was in the nose as well, with a good showing of tangerine, mango, papaya, and lychee. As the taste advances the sweet tropical fruits get stronger while the malt gets weaker. Toward the end of the flavor profile, a bit of must and some pepper and cardamon join in, leaving one with a sweet and rather malty, but fresh hopped taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body is rather chewy for an only 6.5 % abv brew with a moderate carbonation level.
Overall – An alright hazy IPA. Like most of Other Half’s brews, this one is heavier on the malt and the sweet, but does have a nice fresh hop take on it. A decent brew overall.

Can: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with some juicy citrus notes and a semi-dry finale. Taste is also a good mix of citrusy hoppy notes with some juicy floral hops undertones with big citrus notes and a semi-dry finish. Body is full for style with good carbonation. Good NEIPA with tons of citrus notes as advertised.

Poured from can into a snulip glass. It is dirty lemon in color and it sports a half finger cap of fluffy, bright white foam and thick film of lacing. It certainly smells like Citra hops with notes of lemon, grapefruit, orange/tangerine, and flowers. The taste is just what you would expect: mostly tart citrus with just enough balancing tropical sweetness. The mouth feel is unusually lite for an Other Half IPA and it is super drinkable at 6.5% ABV. Overall, Big Citra Vibes is just as advertised. OH coaxes lots of flavor from the simple Citra hop bill.

Hazy orange whitish color with a thin head.
Nice aroma with predominant notes of passion fruit, fresh oranges and some pine resin.
Likewise, flavor with notes of pine, fresh oranges, passion fruit, gooseberry and lime. Dry and bitter aftertaste, rounded and with no harsh sensation whatsoever.
Medium body with carbonation of tiny bubbles.
Perfectly executed NEIPA with sharp but friendly Citra notes that also leans towards gooseberries, oranges and resin. Thus, giving some own character in the Citra realm.

16oz can served in a curvy Monhegan pint glass. Dated 07/03/25. Bought it a couple weeks ago in California, I think.
Pours murky dark straw yellow with a dense, even head about half centimeter thick. Looks pretty carbonated. Smell is pretty much "good hazy" -- juice, fruit, some pith, hint of resin, maybe some bubblegum or melon to get a bit more specific.
Taste is a bit on the juicy side. I see why they put lychee in the description, but I wouldn't have named it (possibly because that's not a flavor that leaps to mind for me). Not cloyingly sweet, but dry fruit juice might be a decent description. I do get a little bit of green vegetation, there might be some resin.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, smooth, clean, a little airy. Overall, solid beer but not special, IMHO.

Standard haze. Fresh, citrusy and tropical aroma. So much breadth of flavor with only Citra. Really enjoy the extra boost of intensity from the Citra Cryo. Seems to carry over into the body, making the beer feel bigger than it actually is.

A bug haze beer. It delivers a somewhat acid forward finish, it's quaffable, it's sippable. Not among my favourite of the style but the taste overall was ok.

A solid NEIPA from the Other Half as always. Hazy, orange color. Nice white head. Tropical fruits, citrus, melon, and lactose in the aroma. Soft, juicy, moderately sweet.
