16oz can served in a footed pilsner. Dated 09/08/21. Bought it in NYC and shipped it home.
Pours a pale whitish-yellow with a roughly two centimeter head, collapses slowly to just under one centimeter at the high points and appears to be clinging to the side of the glass for its dear life. Smell is powerful, noticeable at arm's length as soon as the can was cracked. Super tropical juicy, mango and a little pineapple, moderate floral sweetness and some resin.
Taste is similar, and goes through waves of fruit juiciness. Tropical up front, then melon, then orange juice. I get more bubble gum on subsequent sips. Barely avoids being too sweet (but does avoid it), and could benefit from a little more bitterness somewhere, but this is extremely tasty.
Mouthfeel is thick, rich, velvet. This is a very, very good beer.
