A hazy Triple IPA highlighting a single hop variety, Riwaka. Notes of passion fruit, grapefruit and citrus. More Riwaka than you can handle.

Hazy yellow gold; tight white head; excellent cap retention; medium heavy bands of lace; heavy ring. Pungent pineapple, passionfruit, pink grapefruit, mango. Taste follows nose; semi sweet earthy overripe fruit; lemon/lime as beer warms. Medium body; soft creamy feel; light carbonation; no astringency. An outstanding single hopped hazy from Other Half.

poured from a 16oz can into a narrow gauge stemless wine glass. pours a thick, hazy orange with almost three fingers of fluffy white foam head. citrusy orange, grass, ripe melon and passionfruit on the nose and taste. thick, creamy mouthfeel. amazing the aromas and flavors derived from a single-hopped IPA but it’s so complex. i just love the new zealand hop varietals. they give off as much pine and grass as they do citrus and tropical fruits. this one is incredibly drinkable for 10.5% too.

Canned on: 8-21-23

A - Dark orange yellow opaque pour with dense, creamy, bubbly lacing.

S - Nice intense aroma consisting of apricot, pear, stone fruit, and white grape skins.

T - Go figure that it follows the nose. Spicy white grape skin, apricot, stone fruit, apricot, and pear while ending on the sweeter side.

M - Big chewy body that finishes more on the wetter side.

O - The ABV is deceptively well hidden making this an easy drinking, flavorful beer.

On tap at OH DC. I have to say, in the past year, I've become a Riwaka hops freak. Its like Nelson on steroids. This one is all Riwaka, all flavor and just delights the palate. Be careful though bc that 10.5% sneaks up on ya. Awesome brew. Looking forward to sipping on a few of these babies at home.
