A modern Oktoberfest inspired Pilsner brewed with our friends at Schilling, Burial and Halfway Crooks. Brewed with a singular malt, Weyermann pilsner, and a mix of German and New Zealand hops. Hopped with German Hallertau Mittelfruh and Select during the boil and then hit with a mix of German Saphir and NZ Riwaka in the whirlpool. Some traditional floral and spicy notes but with a big citrus/passion fruit hit from the Saphir and Riwaka.

Pours a clear yellow, brief .75" head that fades out quickly, light spots of lacing. Nose is light grass and grassy hop, lemon, relatively dry, otherwise unexpressive. Taste has moderate, dry bitterness, very light crackery malt, light field or hay. Mouthfeel is light and very crisp. Nothing wrong here, if not a little light on flavor.

A: The beer is crystal clear yellow in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a short white head that left a thin collar around the edge and lots of lacing on the surface and down the sides of the glass.
S: Faint aromas of toasted malts are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and has light flavors of toasted malts along with hints of spicy hops. A slight amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied and clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: I found this beer to be easy to drink and it's like a "lite" version of an Oktoberfest - even lighter than a Festbier.
