Can’t remember when or where I purchased this, but considering the collaboration, I had ridiculously high expectations. Pours a viscous ebony with no head. Almost nasal burning “hot” alcohol aroma that surprisingly isn’t off-putting. There’s cocoa, charred wood, vanilla, raisins. A syrupy sweet upfront flavor gives way to black licorice, stone fruit, dark chocolate. The mouthfeel is full, sticky, lush but not pleasant. Overall, better “buckle up “ for a full bodied, no nonsense rollercoaster ride of barrel aged goodness!

Thick and rich. Sweet and delectable chocolates, cookie/brownie batter. A delicious example of a pastry stout. Great for sharing.
