One of our earliest collaborators our friendship with the folks at Trillium is inching ever closer to a decade. This Freak Week beer was the third in our Trillions series and is packed with Galaxy. At twice the hopping rate of last years Two Hundred Thousand Trillion Everything, we dropped the fruit addition and ratcheted things up to hefty 9.8% ABV, leaving a pleasant sweetness and soft bitterness to balance the muscle.

This was another beer from Other Half that I picked up there earlier this year, as I was excited for this release! Love Trillium's offerings and anyone who's a fan of their excellent brews will be pleased with this too, as it was reminiscent of the best that they offer. For only having one hop, this was quite complex and plenty to offer from start to finish!

Not surprisingly, this poured a hazy golden hue with more than enough foam to top it off. Lots of thin, layered rings were left behind as I worked my way through this as the suds never fully settled down. Lots of tropical and stone fruit in the amazingly plush nose as there was a ton of peach, mango, papaya, marmalade, and candied fruit in the taste. Strong, sweet, and fruity, this was quite full, sticky in the back, and had plenty of melon and grapefruit in the aftertaste as it easily left me wanting more.

To be fair, this was strong and it was easily to feel the buzz kick in as I was finishing it off. No matter - this was quite addicting and easily showcased the best that both breweries have come to be known for. Couldn't read the date on the bottom of the can but it held up well over the last four and half months as I'm glad that I still have some left here. This as such a winner of a collaboration that was as good as any "fruit cocktail" beer that I've ever had!

Look - Thick hazy orangish tan with a big frothy white head and super sticky
Smell - earthy floral citrus topical smell right from the can. As it airs out for a few min, mango papaya and kiwi as they noted, very tropical.
Taste - ruby red grapefruit with sugar added over night with a little bit of peach juice in there. As it airs out you get the mango and more tropical tasting
Feel - medium full body with a lighter carb
Overall - pretty outstanding
