Our 3rd Anniversary was a big one. We had just completed our first year of canning and were riding a high from all the new and exciting beer. This Triple IPA felt like a culmination of our progress and we still love it. Brewed with 2-row, wheat, oats, and a small amount of lactose then hopped at 6.5 lbs/bbl with Mosaic, Vic Secret, Wai-iti, Citra, Motueka, Galaxy, Simcoe and Citra Cryo.

Canned on 1/31/23; consumed on 3/7/23
Pours a turbid, glossy, dark golden body topped with three fingers of densely soapy, eggshell-white foam; solid head retention leaves a few chunky islands of cap, a thin, frothy collar, and gobs of thick, webby lacing painted comprehensively down the walls of the glass.
Aromas of boggy resins feed into shreds of white grape and lime peel, while papaya, overripe passionfruit, and dank orange forward a tropical trend across the bouquet.
Taste brings peach zest and key lime upfront, with swampy, dank undertones peaking to mossy resins over the mid-palate as tangerine juice carries a citrus medley through the back end of the profile.
Mouthfeel shows a medium body and moderate carbonation, with a subtle hop twang easing to juicy overtones through the mid-palate before settling with slick resins on the back end and a creamy glide finishing.
Understated yet composed, a clean execution of resin characterizes this level expression of TIPA, presenting equal parts dank, juicy hops with a soft, earthy underbelly.

Look - Hazy thick milky yellow with nice white head and rimming and lacing
smell - citrus tropical but dialed back more then expected
Taste - Like the smell but more of it.
Feel - medium full body with a medium light carb
Overall - pretty great but the smell was dialed back and for a triple I was expecting more body

Super onions in the best way. Citra makes everything work. Delicious and one of the best representations of a NE IPA that will be found in the Empire State. Perfect mouth feel. Smell was not as good as the taste but the smell was amaze balls, so still great all around world class 100%.

From a week-old can, pours a hazy golden orange. Dense white head leaves lace rings. Smell and taste are complexly fruity, with citrus, tropical fruits and white grapes dominating. Nice full mouthfeel. Barely any booze detected. Nice.
