Pale yellow body with a fair white head; good, clinging lacing on the glass. Little aroma per se; very faint light malt scent. Good, light lager malt flavor with a slightly sharp bitterness; faint citrus taste. Medium-light body; soft and smooth; clean and dry finish.
A good lager but with nothing really distinctive about it. I'd have another but would look elsewhere for a a better example of a pilsner.

Pours a clear, pale golden. Head looks nice for a half a minute but dissipates. Some spritziness on the tongue. Very light body but has some texture to the mouthfeel with the malt and a slight slickness.
Rather sweet and malty. A touch of corn muffins. Faint beery nose. Some slightly flavored malt comes through along with the alcohol. Remarkably pale. A faint hint of hops but overall more like a modest malt liquor.
Tastes more like a better than average Adjunct Lager. Calling it an "American Pilsener" is pushing their luck. From the 12 oz bottle purchased from Grapevine Liquor.

They called this a Classic American Pilsner. Arrived a clear, lemony yellow color with decent head retention and lacing overall.
The nose was a mix of malt and corn. The corn really came out but never overpowered any other aromas. Some husky notes on the side as well. A bit light on the overall malt side, would like a bit more depth here. No real hop character but a very nice clean yeast aroma.
The taste is similar but the malt comes out more versus the nose. A nice malt note upfront that starts off sweet but does balance out by the bitterness of the hops. They corn comes out on the back end and lingers with a slightly sweet lingering taste. A light spicy and earthy hop note comes out in the finish but a nice bitterness lingers and balances well. The yeast is very impressive and very clean.
The body is moderate to dry. If Im nit picky I would like a bit more body here but overall its good. Overall a very nice CAP. The corn is there but not over powering and a very nice yeast profile lets the malt shine.

This is a recipe based on pre-prohibition lager according to the web site. Brewed by Marines, uuhrahhh, simper fi!
Pours deep gold with 1/2" white head. Good lacing & average head retention
Smell: Good dose of malt & not much else
Taste: big maltiness, followed by some frutty hops & a little alcohol kick. Finished fruitty & dry
MF: Medium with great balance & descent carbonation
Drinks too easy, nothin fancy, just reassuring
