Poured into about an 8 oz snifter. Pours caramel/brown with a 1" offwhite/beige head. Good lacing & some alright film/head retention
S: Pears & appleskins along some breadyness
T: Fruittyness & dryness upfront. Pears, apples & a little phenolic twang & some crispness in the finish
MF: Medium bodied with aggresive cabonation, maybe a touch too much for perfection
Drinks fair, saison isn't really to my wheelhouse, but I'd take this over New Belgiums offering
