‘Murican barley, ‘Murican wheat, ‘Murican Crystal hops and perhaps the most world-changing hop America has given since Cascade…the Citra hop. We consider Citra the cheat code of American brewing. It will only make a beer better. Homebrew suck? Up up down down left right left right B A B A select start. Citra enabled…homebrew now delicious.
Seriously, Citra is cheating.

Canned on 8/23/2023; consumed on 1/29/2024
Pours a foggy, lemon-gold body topped with two fingers of fluffy, off-white foam; great head retention leaves a half-finger of cap, modest, frothy collar, and myriad webs of chunky, soapy lacing strewn haphazardly around the walls of the glass.
Aromas of wheat bread crust waft over touches of white peach zest, trending to the grassier end as tinges of floral potpourri take hold over time.
Taste offers notes of fresh straw and wheat bread upfront, with accents of lemon soda and white peach zest crossing the mid-palate into a riverbed minerality subtlety on the back end as a mossy tinge settles through the finish.
Mouthfeel presents a light body and a moderate-high froth of carbonation, trending flaky with developing crispness past mid-palate into a bone-dry finish.
Outwardly floral, the subtle hop intonations muddle with an ultimately crisp malt backing; somewhat unsteady, though engaging at the most basic levels. A good, hop-focused pilsner.
