The first beer fermented with a new yeast culture collected this spring from our raw honey comb. In order to showcase the subtle complexity of this new yeast strain this ale was brewed with a light NY base malt and almost no hop presence. Aromas are hay, lemon, musk. Flavor is subtle with slight fruit, then grain. A slight acidic tartness & prickly carbonation make this low ABV (4%) beer pretty damn crushable.

Thanks to John for this one!
Tart and effervescent, not much else to it. Pale hazed gold, minimal spotty lace. Yeasty grainy aroma. Vaguely tart and yeasty, light white pepper, sliced apple, candy wafers. Light bodied, high carbonation. Better than a lot of American saisons, on the right track though more complexity would be welcome.

Very light beer, but refreshing for hot temps. Great smell and taste, another home run
