Bought a near-bomber in the brewer's taproom.
Very refreshing.
Frankly, this saison doesn't Look like much; an OK light amber, but not much foam. Smells are appropriately fruity, malty. Taste is even better. Balanced. Only 26 IBU. Also Feels good in the mouth, cleansing the palate for more food. Went well with mild Indian food.
I went on their website. While well done, it doesn't tell me too much about them other than the usual commitment to community and sustainability. However, they have a great location at the gourmet market where the Seabus terminal is in North Vancouver. A great place to visit.

L: Clear amber color; thick head upon pour that quickly dissipates to a thin layer
S: chocolate malt and other roasted malts, like a home-brew malted barley store-room.
T: Much more similar to a straight brown ale than a saison; quaff-able; some belgian yeast flavors at the end (maybe raisin) as well as a bit of bitterness; Has a bit of home-brew funk to it.
F: Highly carbonated, lot of effervescence; seems to expand in the mouth; medium dry;
O: Easy drinking saison that tastes very similar to a simple brown ale.
