On tap at the Iowa Taproom at Carissa and Jeffrey. This mildest of their beers has a slight bready smell. Not a lot of carbonation. A good straight forward American lager.

Easy drinker, I’ll say. Not as repugnant as Bud Light.

Can from jcwattsrugger, thnaks
Pours a slightly hazy deep golden with and orange tint to it and a thin white head that dissipates almost instantly. Sweet bready pilsner malt with faint floral spicy hops to counter. Pretty good body for a 3.8 % beer, great after a sweaty day in the yard.

This beer falls in line nicely within its category. Nothing going to knock your socks off here. Light aroma. Grainy smelling. Slightly tart on the back end with little hop presence.

Poured out a clear, golden color with a small, thin head of white foam. It left very little lacing. It smelled of caramel, some malt and floral notes. Sweet caramel backbone with a touch of maltiness. A light hop bitterness adds some bite. It was crisp and sharp.

Aroma is grainy malts, apples and hints of sweetness and tartness. The flavor is grainy malts, apples/cider qualities, fruit and a mix of smooth and slightly tart in the finish.

Top notch lager with some real taste. I almost brought home a growler of this.

The color is medium straw.
The nose is minimal, correct for style in my opinion.
The taste is malty with a light breadiness with balanced hops. I believe this beer is all-malt with no adjuncts.
The finish is clean and refreshing, inviting another round.
Similar to Kalona Brewing's Zingo with a bit less hoppiness, this beer is smooth and very drinkable.
