On draught at the brewery. It pours a crystal clear, bright orange-amber color with a thin, ecru-colored head and creamy lacing. Its smell is vibrant: fresh milk chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry. The taste opens with fairly tart strawberry. The chocolate, vanilla, and malt sweetness are subdued at first but improve dramatically as the glass warms. There is little bitterness. For a Stout, the mouth feel is crisp with lively carbonation and it drinks easily at 6.5% ABV. Overall, Blonde Stouts are always a bit of an adventure and Glasstown has done a really nice job with Mo's Love Mixtape. I give it extra points for style.

(16 oz can, 6.5% abv; no date of any kind on can... decanted into a fat tulip)
L: fairly-clear, tanned-amber liquid; head sizzled out shortly after pour; no lace... after a few sips, remainder of can poured in, bringing with it countless flecks of sediment, some sand-size, others rather jagged and defined, almost like shards of a (dark, high-cacao) chocolate bar... cool logo on can; mesmerized by the metallic twinkle
S: strawberry shortcake? frosting? definitely a fruit confection - krimpet? krimpet lip balm?... malty, with a mellow caramel/syrup shade to it; rather cakey; little alcohol... decent intensity overall
T: chocolate is faint on the palate, coming across as a chocolate malted milkshake or a (milk) chocolate shell of a candy bar... lightly nutty-dominant aftertaste, with hints of strawberry yogurt candy coating... certain malt foundation, little bitterness aside from carbonic acidity... thankfully not syrupy-sweet
F: actually do enjoy the contrast of its plush, vinyl slickness against its everlasting gassy zip... maybe a soft touch of warmth building as it goes... relatively dry, thankfully light residuals; would actually prefer a stronger bite of booze
O: maybe meant to be swilled cold out of the can?... was this an old, old, well past-prime packaging? seems like the flavors would pop hard when fresh... old sludge (1669)
