On-tap at Pig Pounder Brewery, Greensboro, NC
A: The beer is crystal clear amber in color and has some yellowish hues with no visible carbonation. It poured with a thin collar of bubbles around the edge of the glass.
S: Light aromas of toffee malts and plums are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, having flavors of plums along with notes of pale and toffee malts. No bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This isn't a bad representation of the style and the plum aromas and flavors are particularly interesting and unique.

Poured on-tap at the brewery and served in a shaker pint, the beer is a ruby-brown coloring, dark and rich, with no significant head. Nose of subtle toffee and roasted notes. Flavors are roasted caramel sweet forward, with a bitter hops undertone. Good balance. Smooth, light bodied, with a roasted toffee aftertaste. Smooth, light finish. Decent brew.

Went to the new taproom last night for the first time.Poured into a nonic a rich deep copper color with a thinner lacey white head atop, aromas of bready malts,caramel/toffee,and light dark fruit.Flavor are pretty spot on for the English ESB,quite bready and mildy caramely sweet with a decent dose of earthy hops in the finish,a bit of hard water was noticed as well.Although Iam a hophead I can get into a traditional English ale from time to time and these guys seem to be getting that right.
