On tap at Woodland Empire. The yirge bean adds lots of complexity to this saison Beautiful pour with soft, tight head. Aroma has minor saison notes, with hints of wood and herbs. Taste is more herbal with small coffee notes. Nice blend.

From the bottle into a 10 ounce nonic. Foam spits from the bottle when I open it, but not too out of control.
Seems a bit overcarbonated from the pour and there's a lot of fizzy, sudsy head. Hazy golden liquid. 3.5
Fascinating taste and smell. Very citrusy on nose and tongue with lemon and orange and some zesty grapefruit, but there's also some fruity flavors that come with the coffee. The coffee also adds some nuttiness and roast flavor, which curiously works. It's not the most stunning blend of flavors, but it's got some real appeal. S- 3.75 T- 3.75
Very light and refreshing and juicy. A touch tart followed by zestiness, mid-palate creaminess, and a semi-dry finish. 4
Very unique and the end result is pretty nice. I really enjoyed this.

In the last week, I've had this draft at the taproom, growler at a buddy's home, and finally I picked up a bottle tonight at the COOP to finally give it a proper review. Paid a reasonable $8 for the 17oz bottle.
Pours hazy golden orange... foamy white head.. good cap sloping lacing.. Nice clarity would really help in my mind.
Nose is interesting... Fruity coffee and light Belgian notes.. It really works.
Flavor has the same light saison elements but the coffee really compliments it... The beans are complex and not what people associate with coffee, no harsh roastiness or astringency.
The bottle shows a pretty aggressive carbonation even for a Saison, but the small bubbles help.. Very drinkable, especially given the lower ABV... I dig this one quite a bit.
