Not a classic pilsner but a very good one. Malt, grain, citrus, and herbal hops in the aroma. Crisp, refreshing bitterness with a malty backbone in taste. I really enjoyed it.

Poured from can into glass. Appears yellow with fairly good clarity and a bit of lacy foam. Smells is of tangerine. Flavor is clean and floral with a bit of malty sweetness. Finish is dry with a lingering citrus note. Wonderful craft version of the style, not similar to old world examples but thoroughly enjoyable.

Can from FLX Weinery in Dundee, NY.

This one pours a slightly hazy yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This one smells like citrusy hops, grainy malt, grassy hops, and a sort of mineral-esque aroma.

This is quite non-traditional, as it's very hoppy and citrusy. It does have that grassy crispness I want out of the style, and the malt character is fantastic, with a nice and not sweet grainy and bready malt character.

This is light bodied, and very clean, with a fantastic level of drinkability.

I like this a good amount, even though it certainly blurs some style lines.

Can courtesy of Schlimenhaumer - cheers, bruv!

Dried lime, 2-row barley, grassy hop notes, floral hop notes, hints of citrus.

Blatantly over hopped for a pilsner, but I've no doubt Finback intended that. Really more of an IPL to be fair, but I guess masquerading as a pilsner is better for marketing.

Judged as an IPL, it's still a bit imbalanced.

Powdery mouthfeel. Runs a bit full-bodied for a pilsner or IPL. Unrefreshing and overcarbonated.

Drinkable enjoyable fare, but Finback got carried away trying to emphasize hops and lost sight of balance.
