Had on tap. Pitch black opaque body, tan foam islands. Let's start with the feel as it will drive the smell and taste: the barrels are there in a way where the booze and sweet trapping are extracted to the max, and yet not hot at all as the adjuncts and malting are cooling and thick, velvet smooth. This is a lush and heavy sipper, sweet but never an issue of adding up on the palate. Taste has lush thick coconut, fudgey chocolate malt, vanilla cream, hazelnut, and barrels in that order of strength. Nose is more focused on the coconut, hazelnut, and molasses driven bourbon. Great pastry stout
