From a bottle, pours a bright gold yellow color, very carbonated, with a big frothy head.

The smell is earthy barnyard funk, musty, citrus, peppery, honey with astringent brett notes. The flavor is alot more honey, some light fruit berry, earthy hops and funky. The finish is clean, but slightly bitter and puckering, very active carbonation going down.

This is above average, but I wouldn't consider it spectacular.

This is a nicely made saison that drank well once I let it sit for a few minutes. The initial pour was way overcarbonated. The wait was worth it - I was rewarded with a slightly pungent and earthy saison with some great citrus fruit qualities. Slightly sweet. Nice showing from an up and coming brewery.

From 09/06/14 notes. Picked up a couple bottles of this at the brewery that morning, had been in the fridge for about 8-9 hours before consumer. 750ml bottle poured into my Transmitter globe type glass. When I started unturning the cage around the cork, the cork and cage shot off and hit the ceiling, halfway through....be careful. No gushing though.

Pours a murky golden-yellow color with high carbonation evident and one finger of off white head. Tons of lacing and head lasts a while. Nose is earthy, lots of citrus hops, tropical fruits, and some funk. Taste has more funk and lots of brett. Nose has some fruity pebble smell to it. Medium body and moderate carbonation to it.

Overall I liked this one and tihnk it is probably the best beer from them I've had so far. The nose has a little funk to it and not a lot of brett, though a lot of fruit. Taste is good with the brett coming through. Easy to drink, hoping this leads to more brett beers.
