Rye saison made with ingredients sourced from New York Maltsters and Hop Farms. Fresh malt sweetness and light spiciness from malted rye make this beer balanced and quaffable.

On tap at Bridgeview. Amber with lasting head mild spicy herbal aroma. Very sweet but smooth and not cloying. Light body. Good but kinda boring.

This is really more of a golden ale. But it's a good one. Pours cloudy bronze with almost a touch of red - like a peach or strawberry blonde. A thick head that swiftly dissipates. Smell is not remarkable but the taste is amazing: a light apple tartness riding the malty sweetness. It's very like a pommeau or ice cider, except less sweet and with a noticeable carbonation.

A: pours a hazy, but not overly so, straw gold, with a creamy, white, two-finger head and above average retention for an american saison
S: grainy, definite pilsner malt and some of the mealiness of rye, and a clean herbaceous bitterness, but the spiciness I was hoping for is missing, not overly fragrant and underwhelming
T: very grainy, but too sweet, it is crisp with subtle, but definitely present phenolic notes of clove and less so banana, it has a clean bitterness that I wish was more present
M: Silky, what the hell, a saison should not be silky
O: this is a good beer, but to me it's not really all that much of a saison, it would read better as a sessionable tripel or golden ale but not as a saison

The beer offers floral notes, caramel sweetness, a medium plus breadiness. Underlying the beer is a earthy Brett note.
