-initial bottle pour is optically clear and golden. A wisp of foam quickly dissipates and very fine bubbles rise toward a clear surface. The last pour has some yeast haze. Aroma is floral, vinous with a bit of earthy-Brett funk. The flavors are diverse. There is fruit, largely pear, an oaky chardonnay presence and some farmhouse tang. The bitterness is only moderate. The finish is very dry. This is a complex and superb saison. I hope to find it again.
