On tap at Sea Jax in Kettering. Served in a shaker pint glass.
Appearance: Translucent honey gold that glows when the light hits it. Barest thin white foam across the top. Some small fine strands and islands of persistent foam noted.
Smell: Some white grape and citrus/tropical fruit. Aroma was not strong.
Taste: Lots of interesting flavors: lemon, grape, herbal, and lingering herbal/floral bitterness. Malt underneath is hard to pick out - the grape/fruit flavors mask it a bit so that the malt sweetness comes out differently than expected. This is a very tasty and interesting beer.
Mouthfeel: Good carbonation, nice thickness. A bit sticky on the teeth.
Overall / Drinkability: I'm not sure I would call this a Saison or a farmhouse ale as it doesn't quite fit the style , but it is a very tasty ale with an unique hop aroma and flavor. Went very well with meatloaf, and I would not have minded having another one. A well done beer by whatever style it may actually be.
