12.7oz bottle served in a WABL sample glass. Vintage 2019. Gift from a friend, who I think bought it a long time ago for me, and then forgot he had it for about a year.
Pours black, dark reddish-brown along the edges. Smallish head that disappears quickly. Smell is rich chocolate, charred wood, alcohol, molasses, maybe a bit of soy sauce.
Taste is bitter chocolate, char, milk chocolate, molasses. Booze is muted, soy sauce is basically gone.
Mouthfeel is thick and rich, not lively but just enough movement. Overall, very nice.

12.7 ounce bottle, 2019 vintage. Served in a Warped Wing snifter, the beer pours dark brown/black with about an inch tan head that didn't stay around for too long. Not much lacing, either. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like Tennessee Whiskey, oak, roasted malt, caramel, vanilla, coffee and chocolate. Taste is mostly sweet, similar to the aroma there's Tennessee Whiskey, oak, vanilla, caramel, coffee, toffee, chocolate, molasses, roasted malt and dark fruit flavors noticeable. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and a bit creamy with a moderate amount of carbonation. If you like sweeter tasting barrel aged Baltic Porters then I definitely recommend this. I liked it a lot! $10.99 a bottle.
