Bottle from Harvest Foods. Hazy, medium amber, scant head. Faint citrus aroma, pineapple. Taste goes more fir the wheat beer Flavors, bread, biscuits, with light pineapple accents. Kind of dry too.

unexpected and pretty good, neat to see more from these guys popping up around town. this is a little sweet but guess what, so are pineapples, and i appreciate this not being candy sweet nor being overly fruited at the expense of tasting any grain or anything. i like the color of this being a little darker than just the standard cloudy pale wheat beer, its light amber in the glass and not all that hazy for the style, a little crystal malt or toasted wheat or both boldening it a little, allows more flavor without the core being overwhelmed, smart. the smell is yummy, fleshy natural pineapple, wouldnt surprise me a lick if this was real fruit in here, and it has a compatible hop note as well, unexpected in a basic wheat beer but a nice twist, it really works, toasted, tropical, lightly hoppy, nice. the flavor has similarly good balance, and even though the pineapple is the lead flavor, all the elements contribute. nothing really from the yeast i guess, but i dont miss it in here, and the hop fruitiness plays super well with the pineapple all through this, a dry hopping i assume. light acidity and tang from the pineapple but the sweetness offsets it. a kilned malt fullness to the grain, cereals and bread crust to it, not necessarily obviously wheat in the flavor, but its nice how it is. enough carbonation for this to not feel too big in body, and with a little hop bitterness late helping round it out and finish it off. clever recipe, uniquely tweaked to be kind of modern, and the fruit profile is excellent. nice beer with my sushi last night! better than its ratings...

12oz can served in a tulip. No date on the can that I can see. Bought it at Total Wine yesterday, but that's no clue to freshness.
Pours mostly clear amber color with a medium sized head that settles into a uniform skin that clings about a centimeter up the side of the glass. Smell is fruity (makes me think of pineapple and whipped cream, actually), sweet, makes me think of canned pineapple.
Taste is an interesting mixture of pineapple and bitterness. Bitterness is slightly harsh and kind of vague. Pineapple still leans toward canned.
Mouthfeel is moderately thick. Overall, it's not bad.

Served in shaker pint at the newly reopened Copper Hog. Lightly hazy dark yellow color, with just a thin cap of head that had no retention or lacing. Low wheat and pineapple aromas and flavors. Thin body. Easy drinkability. Overall, fairly boring and benign beer.

12 oz can, thanks brenn79. Strong pineapple in the nose along with a very brief offnote of puke, some grain, wet hayfield. Pours hazy orange with a medium bone-white head with decent retention. Taste is pretty bitter for style making this taste more like an American Pale ale, or even an IPA, rather than a fruity wheat beer. Not bad. Edit: something about the grain bill here that I’m not too crazy about, making me lower my scores a bit.

Poured into a Seattle Beer Week pint glass. Pours a medium to dark coppery amber with a one finger ivory head with great retention and lacing. Dark looking for a wheat ale. Aroma of wheat bready malt, pineapple. Flavor is wheat malt and light pineapple juice with light grainy wheat in the finish with mild grassy hops. Medium bodied with an unexpected light creaminess. Both the wheat flavors from the malt and the pineapple are understated, but there is something completely satisfying about this ale. At first taste it's almost hard to get any strong wheat flavors and the pineapple is lightly handled, but as I drank this, a more biscuity wheat flavor developed into a more interesting profile. The pineapple is especially well done, making this less a fruit beer than a nice pale wheat ale with a touch of pineapple. The color and and light creaminess where both early surprises followed by the great balance in the wheat and pineapple. Deceptively simple, and more than the sum of its flavors. The trend toward fruit beers is wearing thin for me, but this one is a keeper.

Very good pineapple flavor. It's not too strong and just tangy enough. Seems like an especially good flavor for an American wheat beer. Delightful fragrance of pineapple, but again it's light and beery at the same time. Brewer says is made with some rye as well as wheat, and the hops are Mosaic. Not bitter at all, so it's an interesting subtle use of Mosaic.
Appearance is nice enough, golden amber color and plenty of suds. On close inspection there's a slurry of some tiny bits, hard to distinguish from the bubbles. Not yeasty or icky, but I've never encountered anything quite like this and it doesn't detract from the appeal. Flavor is clean and overall this is totally drinkable. I"m down with Moses Lake.
