12oz can from HomeBrewStuff. Hazy, murky yellow pour, one finger fluffy white head. Light bready aroma. Taste brings a light citrus zesty, grapefruit peel, pillowy pale malts. Fairly light on the palate, just enough tang. Decent weight and feel.

makes sense that this is listed as a pale, was thinking ipa as i was having it and it wasnt quite getting there, but i like it better now thinking about it as a pale. pretty hazy from the can, but also kind of copper toned, a little deeper malt color than a lot of these have, and more grain balance too, again just better as a pale in my mind now. the head is high, white, and frothy, and the aroma of this really is the best part to me, juicy and fruity, but different too, i get more berry type notes than citrus which makes this unique enough, i wish the malt was a little lighter so this popped more, but its a nice aroma, a little less than perfectly fresh to me, but i didnt get a date from the can. the flavor is like a slightly faded version of the nose, but the malt is big enough to cover up the most pungent aspect of the hops that i like to much in the nose, some lemon, some strawberry, some sweetness from the grain running the distance in the flavor, a more or less clean ferment but the beer still comes across a little less than ideally refined to me, heavier than it should be for a pale and for its abv, and lingering a bit strange on the tongue, not quite metallic but moving in that direction. a bit of a shame because the hop profile is a winner. ive been pretty lukewarm on a lot of the ten pin stuff so far, aside from the stout there havent really been any standouts for me, i like the hops here but the beer overall isnt quite what it could be. still, glad to have these guys available in boise now.

12oz can served in a nonic glass. No can dating.
Look- Murky burnt orange color, small white head that quickly recedes to a thin cap of foam, decent lacing. Light carbonation streaming visible as it sits.
Smell- Citrus (orange/tangerine, grapefruit and lemon/lime), tropical fruit (papaya and mango), grainy malt, faint pine and other spicy/herbal notes.
Taste- Similar to the aroma, tangy citrus and juicy tropical fruit, grainy malt, light spicy/herbal hop notes.
Feel- Heavier side of medium bodied, slightly sweet and sticky up front with a negligible hop bitterness in the finish, decent balance. Moderate carbonation on the tongue.
O- A pretty good pale ale but middle of the pack as they come.

On tap at The Lantern Taphouse. Golden and opaque and the head had died down by the time this was served. Lemon/citrus and tropical fruit. Juicy, medium body. Overall a decent choice. I've had this in the can before and it's a little better from the can in the heat of midsummer.

Hazed, murky pale orange with close to three fingers of airy near-white head. Nice rings of lacing.
Modest aroma of light orange, tropical fruit and allspice.
The same elements carry over to the taste, watered down, with an almost nutty caramel malt addition and some grapefruit pith bitterness.
Light to medium bodied with some prickliness in the feel.
Perfectly drinkable, but below par for a hazy pale ale these days.

I had this beer on-tap in a schooner at the brewery.
Appearance: hazy light golden hue with a layer of ivory foam that leaves a good lace on the glass.
Smell: citrusy and juicy aroma with a little bit of melon in there. Bright and enticing!
Taste: citrusy and piney flavor with a bit of a raspy bitterness at the end. A pretty satisfying hazy pale.
Mouthfeel: medium body with a really big carbonation and creaminess. I dig it.
Overall: tasty and pretty refreshing. Despite the bitterness, I could see quaffing a few of these in a sitting.

12oz can served in a snifter. No date that I see.
Appearance is hazy, grayish amber. Smell is tropical and bright.
Taste is guava, I think -- with a bitter finish that makes me think of fruit skin.
Mouthfeel is medium and a little fluffy. Overall, this is a nice and interesting pale ale.

Opaque orange-gold in color and appearance. Aromas of guava, lemon, passionfruit. Sweet tropical fruits and citrus up front with citrus zest to finish it out. Full-bodied and creamy with a pleasant, medium carbonation and a dry finish that doesn't leave hop flavor lingering around. Juicy and comfortable overall.

Served in shaker pint glass. Poured a murky pineapple yellow color with about 1/4 inch of white head that moderate retention and light lacing.
The aroma was dominated by fruit and pine hops, with a very faint grain scent.
The flavor was also dominated by fruit, mostly pineapple, and the pine aroma didn't transfer to the tongue.
The body was very light, even for the generally light-bodied murk-bro style, but at least had a nicely dry finish.
Drinkability was OK, but it was one of those that failed to make an impression, you don't really remember if your picking the glass up or putting it down, the flavor evaporates so quickly. Overall, a pleasant enough brew, likely one-and-done for me, but, YMMV. Worth a shot if you see it.
