Coherence is a double dry hopped Session IPA. The huge amount of dry hopping creates a unique aroma that jumps out of the glass. Citrus, berries, tropical fruit, and floral notes take over the senses while a clean crisp malt profile takes a back seat. A light snappy bitterness complements the beer's dry finish. An extremely drinkable and refreshing beer for any hop head.

On tap at Institution Ale Company in Camarillo, CA.

Pours a clear golden-orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy patches of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus fruit, citrus zest, and tropical fruit aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, tropical fruit, and dirty berry flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a good beer with a tasty fruit forward hop presence that makes this one easy to drink.

Served at the source. Coherence is a double dry hopped "Session" IPA.

A: Pours a slightly hazed orangish yellow with a half-inch thick white head which fades quickly to a thin cap and leaves spotty lace.

N: Citrus and tropical hops really jump out along with some faint berry notes.

T: Orange, tangerine, passion fruit, with mild clean malts for balance.

M: Semi-moderate body and carbonation. Finishes slightly dry and bitter.

O: At 5.5% they call it a session IPA. Whatever it is called, I'd have another anytime. Easy drinking.
