A heavy-hitting triple IPA packed with a trio of contrasting hops. Mosaic contributes tropical and berry flavors, Columbus deliveries dank and earthy notes, and Cascade provides classic floral and fresh citrus characteristics.

Pre-ordered this from Bine & Vine. Basically ordered it because of Institution Ale Works (a brewery that I live and haven’t seen cans around in San Diego) and that it was a triple IPA. Did not know that I had this before, but I gave a taster of it a 4 on Untappd on Dec. 26, 2019 and only writing, “Outstanding.” Online description called this, “A heavy-hitting triple IPA packed with a trio of contrasting hops. Mosaic contributes tropical and berry flavors, Columbus deliveries dank and earthy notes, and Cascade provides classic floral and fresh citrus characteristics.”

Poured a clear pale color with three fingers of off-white frothy head. Lots of bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass and much slower along the sides of the glass. Perfect spiderweb foamy lacing. World-class retention. (Sight - 4.75)

Initially smelled more Columbus and Cascade than Mosaic. Certainly a West Coast IPA. Also pine, dank resin, herbal, wet grass, earthy malt, mango, spoiled fruit, stone fruit, hints of plum, fig and dark fruit. A little better out of the can. (Smell - 3.75)

Tasted better than the nose. In order got dank pine, skunky resin, dark fruit, plum, wet grass, herbal, Columbus, Cascade, earthy malt, stone fruit, mango rind, peppery spice and hints of rose blossom. Fairly smooth for 10.3 pct. ABV. (Taste - 4.00)

Medium body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Earthy, bitter finish. (Feel - 4.25)

Just an outstanding West Coast TIPA. Glad I picked up a can. (Overall - 4.00)
