On tap at Middle Brow's gastropub.
Billed as a Lithuanian grissette, I curiously asked why and, to my surprise, the brewmaster came out. He explained the firm from whom they buy their yeast had just returned from Lithuania and was cultivating that country's rare ale yeasts.
Miner Lit has a hazy yellow that was aglow, like rays of light were trying to break through but got absorbed. (This was a frequent color/impression as I watched beers being carried from the bar.) Smells are citrus/yeast/malt working. Tastes are mostly Lime, yet refreshing. Cleansed also for the next bite of Middle Brow's pizza. A very good pairing.
