16 oz can into a tulip.
A: Clear golden color with a finger of foamy white head.
S: Funky yeast, lemon citrus, sour apple cider.
T: Grainy malt that is sweeter than the nose suggested but complemented by lemony sourness and cider-like funkiness.
F: Medium-light bodied; very well-carbonated.

Pale pastel yellow with a light haze and a finger of foam. Occasional rising bubbles in the singular sense. Vaguely herbal aroma with some lemon rind and a mild brie rind funk. Yeast forward. Mild acidity, soft creamy texture, light toasted grains and lemon pith. Light bodied with some carbonation and mild bacterial funk. Dry with a white pepper phenolic note in the aftertaste. Overall it’s pretty easygoing and drinkable, hope to pair with pizza at the Bungalow soon.

Consider this an experiment, particularly since I have patronized Middle Brow for two years and know that experiments are what they mostly seem to do. Also, this yeast is from their garden; so it is a little wild in that sense, but not wild in the extreme sense of tart.
I'm Looking at one of the clearest saisons I've ever drank... the price is very little lasting foam. Smells are interesting, but I give an average rating to it as I get almost no fruit. Tastes improve in that everything is balanced and works together... but I'm not detecting what that "everything" is. This is a quenching ale; semi-dry, of medium body and bubbly.
While average, Neighborhood still went well with cheeses before dinner and summer fare of pasta and salad. If it were not at 6% ABV, Neighborhood could be considered a good table beer.
I will have Neighborhood again, hopefully with a Middle Brow pizza or a sandwich with their bread. But they are still working their way out of the pandemic and experimenting, perhaps a bit too much, with their business model. So for now, a slightly above average table beer is all I get from them. I still like these guys.
4/2/22 It took me 20 months to get back to my Neighborhood's saison... perhaps because given the choice of slightly tart saison and a not-so-tart saison, I choose the later. But I was a bit hard in my rating and increased it. But before I keep count over @ UnTappd, one last bit of advice on Neighborhood: bring back Robyn.

Aroma is malts, citrus and vinegar/hint of sourness. The flavor is Belgian yeast, malts/grains, lemon and a slight vanilla sweetness/tart/dry finish.
