Undated can; drank 1/11/23 @ the Yarchives.
Cloudy dull yellow/orange appearance.
A rough pour yielded a big white head; strong, frothy tree-rung lace.
Peanut butter & faint lemon notes in the nose.
Medium mouthfeel.
Peanut butter & lemon flavors.
Both are mild, but it's a bit odd...if not unpleasant.
Not sure how old this is (DATE YOUR CANS / BOTTLES) but I'm guessing this has more to do with the kveik yeast than anything. Worth trying once, but not one I'd seek out again.

Middle Brow still is coming out with interesting brews.
This is particularly so because it easy to imagine how Isobel pairs well with Middle Brow's breads, mostly heavy grains, crusty and yeasty.
While I rate Isobel's Looks as average for lack of foam and protein swirls, the aromatics give me a nice citrus to balance a sweet apple/pear medley. Sweet Tastes largely follow but it too is balanced by a semi-dry finish. Quenching in the mouth. Very suitable to cleanse the palate for more bread and or their pizza.
My 19th from Middle Brow, but their first was best. Bring back Robyn. While waiting, I will have another Isobel.
