Had on tap. Chestnut brown murky body with a white ring. Huge belgian yeast and esters leading the way in the nose with notes of black pepper, lemon, orange zest, dry earth and malt. Taste still screams yeast and esters, but the malt here is stronger and sweeter than expected, general citrus zest, black peppercorn and floral tones are in the background. Feel is sneaky old school but maltier body is new world, ester and yeast elevate but do not dry out. Fun
