Had this on tap at the brewery, and it was better then (4/5). 3 days later in the growler it seemed to lose the nuance of the Sorachi Ace hops, and had a dominating earthy bitterness that was a bit one-dimensional.

Hazy opaque gold, frothy white foam, minor lacing around the edges.

Aroma has some lemon tea notes from the Sorachi, as well as a yeast presence and some grainy wheat or pale malt.

Taste has a bitter earthiness that lingers on the palate a little too long. The nuance of the Sorachi Ace seems to have disappeared in the growler. Tastes a little like chewing on a bitter root. Carbonation ebbs quickly. Overall it was better on tap, somehow time in a chilled growler seems to have had an ill effect on it.
