Bold Type is a light gold beer with a dry, crisp finish. Aromas of grape, peaches, and marmalade leap from the glass. Layered flavors of fruit and pie crust make way for a notably funky finish. Available exclusively in the tasting room.

This one pours a slightly hazy but mostly clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like old cut grass, floral funk, clove, and perfume.
I definitely like more old school, less citrusy saisons, but this is just too far in that bone dry, perfume, clove, direction. It’s not a fun pour, with just so much clove, spice, and a perfumey funk that seems to coat the mouth while simultaneously drying it out. The raised ABV also adds a touch of sweetness, especially as it warms.
This is light bodied, crisp, but not really a clean sipper, with a lower level of drinkability.
I don’t love this one. There were multiple things going wrong here.
