L- The beer pours a slightly hazy golden with a modest head which recedes to a thin ring. Lacing is minimal.
S- the nose is a pleasant red wine grapes. It's far stronger than I had anticipated and set's up a pretty high expectation for the taste.
T- the taste is similar to the nose if slightly less prevalent. Still the barrel aging clearly took and the wheat base merely acts as a platform.
F- Carb is light in the beer. The mouthfeel is somewhere between light and medium. Pretty standard for a saison.
O- If you enjoy red wine in addition to beer you will enjoy this offering. I would suggest it for an SO who enjoys red wine, but may not enjoy beer. It really is a nice bridge between the two beverages.
