Can. Pours a dark murkiness. Minimal head. I have had 4 or 5 of their beers. They all have this distinct aroma. I am not very kind to it. It smells like sugary, uncooked dough with citrus pounded into it. The flavor has this odd pang to it. It is hard to describe. Almost like a nearly rotten citrus fruit. This tastes exactly like the other beers in my mind. Body is kind of thin. Alcohol isn't very noticeable. Very, very specific flavor. Not in love with it.

Canned on 2/20/19

Pours a hazy golden orange topped with a few fingers of pillowy soft, bone white foam; solid head retention leaves tons of persistent, uniform lacing clinging to the glass alongside a pretty thick foam collar.

Aromas of candied orange, peach rind, and pineapple juice for the tropical, citric touch, with additional sweetness coming from hints of cream and mango; a hoppy spice and herbal dankness quietly holds influence in the background.

Taste profile is directed toward more herbal citrus and tropical notes: orange, mango, and underripe pineapple rind are the highlights; builds from the earthy hop spice present present in the aroma, along with a quiet hit of grainy malt presence, into the finish.

Mouthfeel is medium bodied and exceptionally fluffy, with a present but mostly subdued carbonation giving way to a slight resinous bitterness; a nicely dried out finish also shows a refreshing, intermittent juicy quality, which really comes to highlight the excellent balance and drinkability on the palate this shows.

Very nicely done balance of subtle, hoppy depth from this one, ranging from dank/herbal to tropical and spice notes throughout. Maybe nothing god-tier overall, but the variety alongside the balance puts the drinkability at an incredible level; this can be enjoyed casually and without much thought, while still offering plenty to the palate.

Poured into a tulip.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy burnt orange color with a small cap of a little white foamy head sliding off fairly quick. Some messy lace ran around the glass in messy sort of way.
The aroma had some grapefruit juice, orange cream and piney resin. Some biscuit malts present a nice clean balance.
The flavor blended all of those prior mentioned aromas together bittersweet with an ample clean malty dose running about. Aftertaste was semi-sticky orange and grapefruit pulp and piney resin.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a steady sipping quality about it. Low carbonation and a nice ABV help work with the bitter resinous dry harshness gripping my tongue. Very nice finish of grapefruit, orange pulp and pine resin.
Overall, a very nice DIPA brewed in the New England style well worthy of coming back to.
