Thanks to Roy_Hobbs for this one. Rec'd in NBS BIF #15.
Canned 1/31/22
Beautiful. Ruby to purple in hue. Fluffy pink-tinged white foam abound. This slowly settles and leaves behind scattered specks of lacing.
Nose is bright berry: rasppberry, blueberry, and a sour/tart lemon brightness. Then a subtle diluted sangria melange pipes in.
Flavor follows the nose meekly. It's still tasty but not near as vibrant as the nose.
Mouthfeel is light to medium, lightly carbonated, and slightly drying in the tart finish.
Overall, a tad less puckering than I expected, maybe not as "lively" in the mouth as many Berliners. But still pretty good.

Thanks to Roy_Hobbs for this one, from his initial NBS BIF #15 assault. 16oz can (dated 1/31/22) poured into 14oz teku. Poured a dark pink/light purple color with nearly 2 inches of pink head that had decent retention and almost no lacing.
Light tartness at the front of the nose, with the berry aspect in the background, and having a slightly musty scent. On the tongue, the tartness wasn't as strong as I had anticipated, very muted actually, and the berry aspect was solid, but also more on the subdued side than expected.
The body was light, but a touch fuller than most of the style I've had, smooth, and with a medium finish. Drinkability was good, an easy quaff for sure.
Overall, a solid brew. Not overpoweringly sour or tart, maybe because the sweetness of the berries balanced it out? Surely worth a shot if you see it.

Never sure how to rate these but this one is quite enjoyable for a fruity beer.
Pours a pretty very cloudy light purple, big initial head settles to nothing but a ring.
Fruity and acidic nose, neither is overdone. It smells like a blueberry lemonade that would cool you off in the summer.
Taste follows the nose with a little less acidity than I would’ve expected.
Slightly tart mouthfeel, balanced well with the sweetness from the fruit. Light and easy to drink.
Think blueberry seltzer with a dash of sour. If your looking for that, this is a good “beer”

Pours a lovely purple color. Smells strongly of blueberries, with some funkiness and sweetness in the nose. Taste is surprisingly light and has a pleasant tartness. Definitely has a buttery funk taste but i dont mind it. I am disappointed however by the lack of blueberries in the taste as I dont get any at all. Feel is somewhat thin. Decent beer that smells better than it tastes IMO but is still refreshing as heck

Extremely light, not a lot of flavor going on, but no offensive flavors. Just a lack of flavors.

Imma be honest, if I could give this beer a 0 I would. This jawn tastes like straight rotten cheese and smells like vomit. Please avoid this at all costs. I know I sound like a dick but this is honestly the worst beer I've ever had.
