HOPS: Tettnang
MALTS: Pilsner
Fruity notes from imported Belgian yeast swirl through a precise souring. Pucker up to a bite of citrus laden tang ending with a delectable experience.
Tastefully tart is how our monkeys describe their sour sibling. Born from the same imported malts, Belgian yeast, and a mix of magical spices, this monkey decided to take a walk on the tangy side. With a swirling citrusy, lemon bite and a delectable essence, you better pucker up and respect this monkey.

Not gonna lie, this is pretty close to feeling like I'm drinking Malt Liquor, albeit with a sour taste to it. It's actually grown on me but I wouldn't recommend it nor order it again. I guess it's a relatively and tastes vaguely Belgian so it might be ok for getting a buzz if that is your priority. If you have access or money there are lot of better Belgian or Belgian style beers to choose from.

Somewhat of a pungent mess, but in a good way. Lots of sour to this beer, both on the nose and the taste as you would expect. Pretty dry finish though .

I definitely get the sour. Nothing in the taste says Belgian tripel. I wish there was more going on in the taste department.

Balance is not polished. Drinkable, but needs refining. After half a can, the ABV kicks in, and you will not care what you are drinking.

looks clear yellow head is small and dissipates quickly.
smells citrusy and has a sourness to it.
at first tastes very sour but that goes away pretty quickly and you can taste the lemon fruity
feel is very drinkable for a 9.5 abv beer
overall very happy with this beer but i wouldn’t want to drink too many.

Can. Pale yellow, not quite crystal clear. Wouldn't guess this is over 9%, perhaps because of Candi sugar (it keeps the Belgians light). It's pretty tart; pucker-inducing. The issue with these beers for me is the vinegar sour trumps everything else, so I would have a hard time ID'ing the Tripel underneath, at least until we're deep into the aftertaste. Still, I enjoy it.

Literally hits your tongue immediately and tastes like a sour sucking candy, so much so that it seems as if it was artificially added. Nonetheless, I found it so drinkable I probably drank it too fast, considering the alcohol content. Not a bad thing.
