Pours a medium clear straw color with a large soapy head and plenty of lace. Aroma is malty but does carry a whiff of herbal hops. In the taste, a well balanced bock that has a bready, biscuit note and woody, herbal hop flavor and restrained bitterness. Light to medium bodied, smooth and easy drinking.

Had on-tap at Shannon Rose in Woodbridge, NJ:
Pours golden with a white creamy head that leaves plenty of lacing.
The smell is of apricot, nectarine, orange - very hoppy - bready backing - esters are restrained - a good sign for a lager.
A firm malt backing gives a touch of sweetness while a good amount of hops gives a bitter, fruity character. Grapefruit, apricot, nectarine fruitiness show through. Very complex. It has a touch of warming alcohol comes through in the smooth, dry finish.
Creamy smooth. This is a well-made lager.
A very well-done hoppy bock!
