Appearance. Poured into a lager glass, this unusual brew comes with an ordinary, clear amber body with an average white head.
There's no hiding the distinctiveness of this ale in the aroma or the flavor. The smell is dominated by green peppers, suggesting some considerable heat will come from tasting it. Tasting however, reveals warmth rather than heat from the jalapeños despite the substantial contribution of the jalapeños to the flavor. Rather than leaving some fire in the mouth, the aftertaste leaves some warming in the mouth along with plenty of bready malt flavor.
